THIS IS WHAT WE WILL DO FOR 3 MONTH WITH GM RUDOLF KANG
We are going to test the efficiency of G M Kang’s stretching method together.
For this you will need a model. It can be your student - a child or a teenager (for faster results) or it can be yourself.

"NO HANDS" full splits at the end!
The final goal of this work is to achieve the correct execution of full splits of the model and receive a clear understanding for yourself of the principals of teaching the efficient way to stretch.

DETAILED EXPLANATION OF G M KANG'S STRETCHING METHOD

ABOUT TEACHING METHOD
RUDOLF
KANG
My methods have improved over the more than 40 years of coaching and I developed my teaching skills to help me to raise more than just one generation of highly-technically proficient students. People who are familiar with the contents of my book “The Way to Learn to Taekwon-Do” are aware of some of my main principles in teaching.
To master precise Taekwon-Do technique, it is necessary to have good joint mobility. Without this joint mobility It is impossible to achieve high quality Taekwon-Do technique, and this is an axiom.
Therefore, the stretching process usually takes a long time. And not the fact that you will achieve the desired result.
To achieve good results in stretching for my students, I developed an author's technique, which I consider necessary in my coaching practice.
I aim for a 100% result of full splits within 1-3 months in my methodology with a maximum of 6 months for those with genetically poor joint mobility under the age of 13-14. Once students achieve full splits, I don’t spend time stretching in the future. Therefore, at the training sessions, I do not spend a single minute on exercises to develop stretching any more. I only check once a week at the end of the training the stretching conditions of each athlete, if it is necessary, I help them to do full splits, both front and side.
I am going to share my stretching method with you in my online course. Previously, I have taught this technique in my online courses and many participants have shared the results of this technique on social media. (You can see these posts on my Biomechanics in Taekwon-Do Facebook page)
Interest in the stretching technique is present in many instructors around the world. Therefore, I am happy to share my fast and effective method.
During my stretching course all my students will demonstrate their stretching skills. I will go into details about my technique for beginners.
By participating in my stretching course, you will permanently solve the problem of stretching in your Taekwon-Do practice.
I have no doubts that the upcoming online course will be interesting, instructive, and memorable for you.
Welcome! See you soon!
THE SYSTEM
RESULT "10 OUT OF 10"
-
Splits like other elements of Martial Arts fundamentals such as kicks or punches have a specific method of execution and a final posture.
-
In order to reach correct kicking execution, we have to follow a certain system of practicing it.
-
The same thing is required to do the splits. In order to reach full splits, we have use effective method of practicing it.
-
We acknowledge the method is effective when 10 out of 10 of your students can perform full split.

Rudolf Kang's method for the power split is detailed in his book "The Way to Learn Taekwon-Do" (section "Lower Body Stretching").
In 2022, this methodology was formally registered as intellectual property. The technique for performing a power split without using the hands for support (the "HANDS FREE" method) is protected by an international patent and represents the author's unique development.

AUTHOR'S PATENTED STRETCHING METHOD
Alexandra Kan has been using the Rudolf Kan stretching method in her coaching practice for many years.

"I have been coaching Taekwon-Do since 2012, primarily working with beginner-level children. Wherever I am, I use my father's method, and I can confidently say it is truly very effective. During the 2017-2018 school year, I taught children in South Korea for an American program. My focus was on establishing basic foundational techniques for beginners. And, of course, I stretched the local children using this very method.
I'd like to emphasize separately that this method is a gradual, gentle way to prepare the body for the splits. This allows children to learn to enjoy the stretching process and achieve a full split without pain. Amazingly, this part of the training is often the children's favorite!"

"I have been training in Taekwondo since 1990. In my coaching program, I pay great attention to developing the splits. When I first attended a seminar by Grand Master Rudolf Kang in Moscow in 2017 and got acquainted with his stretching method, I saw the results, and after that I also began to apply this method, as well as took part in his online and offline courses. I can confidently say that this approach allows achieving good results in a short time without pain or injuries."

А participanе of international course "STRETCHING METHOD BY RUDOLF KANG " in 2022.
" In 2022, I participated in an online course by Rudolf Kang. Through his stretching method, I learned to better understand the mechanics of my body, work properly with my muscles and joints, and develop flexibility, mobility, and elasticity. I realized that stretching is not simply about increasing range of motion, but about working with the body as a whole to improve movement control and reduce the risk of injury.
I adapted the knowledge I gained to my own body and martial arts training. I began paying particular attention to hip mobility, the adductor and abductor muscles, and movement in different planes. Regular practice helped me improve my mobility, increase the height of my kicks, and make my technique more fluid and controlled.
Since then, I have been using this method not only in my own training but also when working on flexibility with my students. I adapt the exercises to each student’s individual abilities, helping them develop flexibility, improve movement control, and safely enhance their technique.
This experience significantly changed my approach to training and has become an important part of my teaching methodology."
